If you can dear friend go to Versailles it is very beautiful there with the fountains on. My fav place though is a little way out west of Paris- Monet's garden in the little village of Giverney. Worth a visit.
The Grande Arche sure looks like a huge window! This year, my 11 yr old son starts French in school, besides the usual German, English & Japanese he was learning already.
