Kaffe Fassett Workshop quilt done!

Vitamins quilt

 Finishing a quilt is always a good thing.

 

 It gives  new energy and optimism and enthusiasm to move forward with new projects. 

 Then when the quilt has these colors is like taking vitamins!

 Trudi has helped immensely in basting ...

A Very Special Day

Yesterday I had the joy to take part to a very interesting workshop held by the great Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably

The day was filled with emotions and teachings

The two artists are lovely people with the enthusiasm to share and teach their love of color and creativity

At the end of the day this is my job. I am very satisfied and happy to have been able to use and dare colors that are out of my comfort zone but from which , in this time , I'm starting to be attracted and I'm starting to love

And this is the masterpiece of my dear friend Irene

 A colorful project has come to the end... 

...and a new colorful project is ready to start!

Oh My...

 

...I feel I'm starting a new "mania".

I LOVE these mini YO-YOs!   

New look

I have changed the look to my old (and too white) sewing box!

 

I have used some nice (but too skinny to be sewed) selvage edges.

The box looks colorful and funny as I desired!

 

 

 

 

Just some fabric strips and a good kind of mat glue and now I love it!
