Road trip case!

Hello! After a long no post time dedicated to  work and also to  holiday, here I am with a new project...one  of those I like so much.

This case tool holder is so cute that I liked right away. It is big enough to hold everything that I need to have on hand but not too bulky.

I , to be sure, have added a transparent pocket to the original pattern for reaping even the my many (too many) pens and markers.

As you can see here, nothing has changed ...

... Trudi is always my faithful helper and the hostess of my work table.

Modern pot holder tutorial

Do you like my new pot holders?...you can make them too!
You need 2 pieces of fabrics and 1 of special thermal stuffing about 9x5 inch (22x12,5cm), a label or a little piece of a nice ribbon and the template.

(Click here to enlarge and print the template...if you have any problem, please, mail me and I will send the template in PDF form.)

Draw the template on the fabric back side....
....and sew following the line to join the sandwich in this order.
Remember to leave an opening to turn inside out .
Cut the fabric around....

...turn inside out and press.
Stitch all around to close the opening and sign the middle with a decorative stitch.

Your new pot holder is done!

Pincushion organizer

Is it cute?

I made it following this clear and easy tutorial.

Personalization

I bought a commercial staff case and then I played with the personalization.
I added my label and three hearts on the outer side.
And a little landscape on the inner side.
The stitches are made with a felt-pen!

Case with geese

I will start new classes in this time, so what's better as a new stuff case?
Two different cute fabrics for the in and the out face...

...and many pockets where to place all my stuff.

The original idea comes from this nice book: Pretty Little Cozies.

Little gifts

The original idea isn't mine. I have seen a pic of this cute key ring on web some time ago. I don't remember where indeed, sorry.

My nephew and I have played with the fabrics scraps to make little gifts for the friends.

And now the unknown object: ONE SIDE view...

....OTHER SIDE view...

Report

A little post just to tell my opinion about the Gingher rotary cutter. After a week of use I can say it's REALLY a good staff. It's smooth ,finely sharpened and perfectly balanced ( as you can see in the pic).

I like as I feel it into my hand. I have had only to change a bit the slope of my wrist (less vertical as I was used to).

I have received a super new TOY today! A super rotary cutter!
It is super balanced, super soft, super sharp, super safe, super fashion, super easy and certainly super a lot of other things!
