To work with the Japanese appliquè technique is , at the moment , that I love most.
Dusty colors , little pieces , easy shapes...and the houses are always a beautiful subject.
I'm working on a little "something" (maybe a wall quilt maybe a cushion) ...
but , as you know , the fun is the journey not the destination.

...again a raining Sunday ... again a new project !

Winter day

A winter day to stay at home and to have the time to create...
Winter colors and a little winter night village...
...perfect place for my eyeglasses

BOM 2013

These are the very early blocks I made for the BOM 2013 class that will start in February.

I'm happy for how they turned out and hope the class could have  the same success of the last year BOM (if you are curious have a look here to see the BOM2012 ).

The second project on which I'm  working in this days is an assembling log cabins bag.
On the left the original project made with wool and on the right the log cabins piece with which I will make the next.

...and again

...I can't stop myself.

...the patchwork bag is still in progress, I have ended this cute keyring Japanese style.
Just some scraps of fabrics , few easy stitches  and a old metal button.

New Project

Log cabin squares quilted as you go...
...they will be assembled to make a bag...
...progress tomorrow!

New Year!

New Year's resolution : spend more time in sewing , quilting , stitching!
