Made this painted clothes pins is very easy...you need clothes pins and acrylic colors only.
First of all I paint the pins with the background color and wait until it is dray.

Then I design the shape of the subject I have chosen with a pencil.

So I paint the cat face with a medium brush. I don't use too much color for this.

And I make the other details with thinner brushes.

At last I add some little snowflakes for a more Christmas look.
DONE!

Thank you for writing up the tutorial. I think these painted clothes pins are so very cute. I'm sure they'd make delightful gifts too. Plus, I think they are a great project to also get kids to make for gifts. Great project for Girl Scouts and various groups too.

ReplyDeleteLovely Nichi! I bought some clothes pegs from Etsy a while ago with crows glued on to them, They were made from very thin wood. I do like your idea with acrylic paint.
