Today is my first blog-birthday!

I have spent many happy hours with blogs-reading and blogs-posting during the last year. More than just a hobby, my blog has become a part of my life, a daily meeting with friends, a window thought which to look at the world with your eyes.

Yesterday I met my friends to exchange wishes and gifts before Christmas.
I received so much nice gifts...
...special teabags and torrone (a traditional Italian sweet with honey and hazelnuts)..

...beauty staffs...


...homemade cookies...


...and, of course, fabrics!

But also this Christmas the nicer gift has been the friendship of my friends.

Snow day

Lavinia says..."What has happened?"

All is WHITE around her...

...the snow has covered everything during the night...

...and there is a so different smell in the breeze.

Also the back yard of my home is changed...

...Trudy seems to be interested in the snow too.

Busy December

A lot of gifts...

...new magazines...

...new fabrics...

...and some days of vacation in Paris!

My Christmas tree

I'm so happy...the Christmas tree time is come back!

I have started to collect Christmas ornaments since I was so young. The oldest I have is from 1972 (I was only 7!).

A lot of them are made by me....

...and a part of them I bought during my travels in the Northern countries where the Christmas traditions are so important...

...all are sweet memories!

Trudy loves the Christmas tree too!
