I'm trying to decide what kind of fabrics to use for the sashing and the border of the BOM Houses project.
As usually my helper puts her own touch to the layout and adds interest to the whole work....
...as you can see two blocks are again to be finished (on the last row) and one is totally to make , but the blocks already done are enough to have an idea of the final effect.
The idea is to use the light blue fabric for the sashing with some colorful cornerstones and free size pieces of the roofs fabrics for the border with the random add of little colorful blocks as a remind of the side of the houses.
...this the idea...the progress will come...
Looks wonderful! Your fabric choice for sashing and border is perfect! x Teje
RispondiEliminaI love the way it looks and I think bright and colorful cornerstones will do the trick!!
RispondiEliminaI also think it looks great (and the cat agrees with me)!! You can still play with other fabric for the border once the blocks are all together. I love that part of making quilts.
RispondiEliminaI just love this quilt . . . there is so much visual interest and the fabrics are beautiful.
RispondiEliminaIt's absolutely gorgious - and so is the cat :-)
RispondiEliminaYour quilt is just so lovely! Looking forward to seeing it finished. Sweet, sweet cat!
RispondiEliminaI REALLY like this quilt..those houses are just too darling!
