Just yesterday...

I know, just yesterday I told you about a new project and beautiful fabrics and blah-blah...

Then in the mail I received this book (my own Christmas gift for myself) a long desired....and with good reason!


The technique is super easy with clear explanations and a lot of pics....

I immediately have started making hexagons....

...but I didn't like the first rosette I made...it wasn't as I expected...

...then I have understood...

...the pieces have to be all different!
Wonderful!

Oh my!...hexies are addictive!

The new quilt

I want to share with you the really early pic of a new quilt I'm working on...it progress very slowly to tell the truth.

The wonderful red and white new fabrics collection immediately suggested me the idea of this easy project but work, people and happening have kept me away from it.

Half smile matryoshkas

I have a bit modified the April pattern for the Mini Matryoshkas.
I have enlarged it about 50% and I have designed on their faces an half smile as Mona Lisa style !
